I find it a bit odd that in the puter business, or more exact software business things works pretty much the way it never would elsewhere.
I mean, in the real world you almost never get anything for free. It's often some catch to it. Like for instance "I give you this car if you promise to never see may daughter again. Its almost implied in the term free, that it's free under some condition or at least in more conditions then it would have been if you bought it.
It's not that common with "If you pay me a lot of money for this car you have to promise to never see my daughter again."
In the software industry the opposite is true. |
