Has this been done?
I was surfing Slashdot today and as usual many of the referring links weren't working due to heavy load.
I would like a sort of torrent-based extension to my browser that will accomplish:
Trigger on a link, like brto:// (browse torrent)
Giving me a torrent like link and the link to the originating page
Making my browser fetch this page from all possible sources
Share it when downloaded

By having the function triggered by the actual link it becomes transparent to the user.
By including the originating page link it will give the user to choose version if the page has been changed and aren't just unresponsive and the link will continue to work even if it no longer shared.
It will take the load of the server and aid spreading the intended message.

SPF
I change my SPF today.
Receiving all those "delivery failure" started to bug me. Now all I have to do is hoping that administrators out there actually use SPF.
Its no fun having your domain blacklisted just because some administrators don't care to actually check who really sending the spam.
I've had SPF for a long time but it never resulted in hard fail, only soft fail which isn't all that satisfying.
By replacing "~" with "-" on the end and updating some info on the servers relaying my mail, it now works as supposed.

I have Bredbandsbolaget as ISP and I found that they relay mail by.

mxfep01.bredband.com 195.54.107.70
mxfep02.bredband.com 195.54.107.73
mxfep03.bredband.com 195.54.107.76
mxfep04.bredband.com 195.54.107.79
mxfep05.bredband.com 195.54.107.79

You could also set a looser rule like include:bredband.com.
And even restrict it to your external subnet, for example: 213.112.55.0/24.

Witch would leave you with an SPF like:
v=spf1 ip4:213.112.55.0/24 ip4:195.54.107.70 ip4:195.54.107.73 ip4:195.54.107.76 ip4:195.54.107.79 ip4:195.54.107.79 -all

or:
v=spf1 ip4:213.112.55.0/24 include:bredband.com -all

At the moment mine is set to:

v=spf1 ip4:213.112.55.0/24 ip4:195.54.107.70 ip4:195.54.107.73 ip4:195.54.107.76 ip4:195.54.107.79 ip4:195.54.107.79 include:bredband.com -all

It's a bit contradictive since I restrict it to 5 specific servers and then include all bredband.com.
I choose this for now since I'm not yet 100% sure these are the only five servers used, and my goal is to remove the "include" when I'm certain on that point.

A piece of history has come to an end
I visited a closed herb garden today. The former owner had passed on.
My mother tells me that since she was just a little kid she and her family visited
that spot every summer. A tradition that now has ended.
She have been visiting that place every summer, she also tells me I used to tag along when I was a kid.
I can't remember any of that. Still it wakes some thoughts walking around the abandoned houses.

Foreign Models
I was surfing around today, looking for porn as usual . Actually I was searching for a exif manager I had before my latest puter crash, it was freeware so I never bothered backing it up and now I cant remember where I found it.
Never mind, I got distracted and ended up on a site with an interesting link "foreign models". This was a regular .com domain, on the Internet. You know, the one most Internet users are connected to, around the globe.
So I don't know, maybe they found a spot in the world that has no access and taken their models from there. Or perhaps they found a nice place full of models and just blocked access from there, making them foreign to everyone else.
But after some thorough investigation I came to the conclusion that they must have referred to "from outside the borders of Internet" or something, which made me wonder about the girls listed elsewhere on that page. Anyhow it was a big disappointment, not finding that exif manager.
